"Wake up where you are", is the first new album from the Strawberry Alarm Clock in over 40 years. Upon the first listen, the new CD is just like opening a time capsule from the 60's. The Strawberry Alarm Clock once again captured the magic of their original recordings and bring it to life again for us in /5(15).

Aug 18,  · With the Strawberry Alarm Clock primarily being known for the blazing 60’s single “Incense & Peppermints,” it’s strange that some forty years after their last album, they’d deliver an epic opus, nearly eighty minutes in length, Wake Up Where You Are. Now, if you for one minute thought that other Strawberry albums would ride the same exotic fuzzed romantic tripped out path as that /5(7).

It's About Time is an apt title for this disc that some of us have waited nearly a life-time for! This album does not disappoint, be it to the un-initiated or to the die-hard long-time follower of The Strawberry Alarm Clock; every tune [sample them here on Amazon] is every bit as engaging-and fun- as the material released on the 1st three albums, though I'd say this treasure of trove of tunes /5(16).

Apr 01,  · Upon release, Wake Up It's Tomorrow failed to chart, though it is considered Strawberry Alarm Clock's apex of musical creativity, as the band members were free to pen the majority of the album's material. The pop-oriented song "Tomorrow" preceded the release of the album, earning the group their second and final Top 40 hit/5(3).

Strawberry Alarm Clock Lyrics "Hummin' Happy" Strollin' down the boulevard Can't you see I'm a sadist? Evil things make me laugh so I'm hummin' happy A little sparrow alive in the street A little sparrow with nothing to eat A big old semi running down the street "Wake Up Where You Are" () Mr. Farmer. Strawberries Mean Love. Hummin.
