About Caress of Steel. Although the band initially had high hopes for Caress of Steel, it was considered a disappointment by the record company. The album eventually became known as one of Rush’s most obscure and overlooked recordings. Die hard fans feel the record is underrated. “I Think I’m Going Bald” was written for.

I think I'm going bald seems to annoy a few folks, but it is a good rocker with a tongue in cheek laugh at aging and also a little more subtly the hippy generation. Lakeside Park is a good song, but doesn't quite work for me. Necromancer is the first of the two epics, and at this stage I /5().

Solid album by Rush. This is when Rush started making epic songs that last 20 minutes. Bastille Day is a fine opener, and still sounds like the first Rush songs, after that I Think Im Going Bald /5().

Caress Of Steel is a chance to hark back to when Rush first broke onto the scene, their third album after Rush and Fly By Night, has a good mixture of heavy rock, terrific guitar rifts, Neil Peart's always excellent drums and Lee's voice at his strongest. Several of the tracks are hints of the longer epic prog rock tracks to come in later albums/5().

(Redirected from I Think I'm Going Bald) Caress of Steel is the third studio album by Canadian rock band Rush, released on September 24, on Mercury Records. It marked a development in the group's sound, moving from the blues-based hard rock style of their debut towards progressive rock.
